What I’m reading:

Just finished Conversations with Friends. I would give it an 8/10. The Hulu series looks interesting so I’m going to watch it next and see how they brought it to life.

This is a good beach read. Nothing is going to scare you or make you cry. You’re invested in the characters and story development. Nice quick read centered around twisted relationship dynamics.

Candles can be tricky sometimes the one that smells the best are super toxic; not this one. I was listening to the Darin Olien podcast and the founder was on explaining how these candles are made with essential oils and are totally safe, if not beneficial, to breathe in. Starting to get all of my camping gear/wear in for our Grand Canyon trip next month.

We added wooden feet to Reegan's box spring and it's working out so nicely. I was a little worried that the bed would wobble; a few days in and no issues at all. ⠀

We did eight 4.75" wooden feet.

4 corners. 2 outside middle. 2 inside center. Drill straight into the frame of the box spring.⠀
⠀
Next up, maybe support plywood across the bottom (since I have been called to sleep in there regularly at 1am lately). ⠀

And then wrapping the boxspring up in some fabric for our own little custom DIY platform bed. ⠀
