Today I’m giving you a look at the 5 things I do to get my day started right . For three years my mornings had no routine . Everything depended on my pain, if I slept the night before, if I had treatment or a machine going off, or if I could even get out of bed. My job was to survive. I didn’t get to have a routine because we never knew what I would wake up to. Being able to have a morning routine lately has been such a blessing for me . I took it for granted for so long . I’ve had countless questions about my daily devotional I’ve been sharing with y’all so I’m sharing it today on the blog ( it’s linked) along with a few other books I’m reading or have read that are total game changers . These books should be in everyone’s homes. You will see why. Here’s my routine y’all. Enjoy! 1-Wake up before my family and pray. I read a devotional ( linked , it’s amazing ) , then just pray . I center. My whole day is formed by the first thing I do. Praying centers me, helps me focus, helps me hear God’s wishes for me, and keeps me grateful. Having this alone time makes all the difference in the world . 2-Something comforting to drink I gave up coffee and I cannot tell you how much better I feel . I start my comfort cup with boiling water, half a lemon, 1/2 a tsp of tumeric and a dash of cinnamon. This cleanses me and gives me that morning comfort I love . Getting dressed and ready. Just kidding . I drop my kids off in my pj’s every day . It’s my thing and I ain’t changing it. Yep there goes the fashion blogger... the teachers get a kick out of it and well I gotta admit it’s a cozy drive home 🤣. 3- Fuel. I fueled my mind, now it’s time to fuel my body . Don’t skip breakfast y’all, it starts your metabolism and gives you energy for the day! 4- I peek at my planner and get my work bag organized. My work bag is from JEMMA wifnits simply amazing . It’s a brief case type bag yet it looks like a purse. Loving the organizing compartments in it and how sturdy it is. Next, I delegate my time. This is a work in progress but I’m learning to do this and it’s making all the difference in the world. What’s the point of being overwhelmed and over worked? I can’t do it all( learning that too ) so I’m building my give a flip daily budget and its a game changer( see the book
