Does Instagram ever have you second guessing yourself? Do you ever get anxiety after you share a post or when you scroll your feed? Raise your hand if so 🙋‍♀️ Went to post tonight, hovered my hand over the delete button, wasn’t going to delete it, finger hit the delete button anyway. Now here I am posting again because I wanted to share this message. It honestly all stems from Instagram anxiety. I’m pretty sure it’s a real condition, and I have it 😜 Many of you have asked how I feel about Instagram taking away “likes”. Supposedly it won’t show likes on the outside, but you will still be able to see how many likes your photos get. Honestly I’m here for it. It’s about time. The whole “likes” struggle is real. There’s many more metrics that showcase an influencers success in this industry than “likes” and we shouldn’t feel judged by them. Some of my photos get a lot of likes, some get a crappy amount of likes. I dunno about you, but I’m sick of popularity contests 😂 Lets just say I had acne, rode the bus to school, and thought Abercrombie was designer clothing so I wasn’t exactly The Homecoming Queen 😜 No matter what your affiliation is with this platform don’t let the likes get ya down. There are much more important things to do than sit around wondering how many likes you’re photo is gunna get. Like grabbing a snack out of pantry. That sounds like a much better idea, right?
