Could you believe this is the same room?! I feel that for years I was stuck in a rut of just decorating with blue and beige lol. I think that’s because I felt like I had to make sure Josh didn’t feel like our house was too feminine and girly 😬 So this year I’m making it my goal to incorporate my favorite color.... pink! Living in Illinois it’s so easy to become depressed during the winter months so I’ve been stocking up on all the pretty spring things. My biggest word of advice for timeless decorating is to invest in the bigger pieces. My advice for decorating with a toddler... Buy a super cheap rug 😂🤣 Our rug is from @samsclub and it was under $100. I don’t feel bad when we get playdoh or ketchup on it... or worse stepped down string cheese stuck to the carpet 🙈 I am beyond proud of how far this room has come and we spend so much time in here so I wanted it easy going and clutter free!
