So we attempted to wear a bow this weekend... it lasted about 5 minutes. Bumpdate.... this week we will be 33 weeks! I wore the comfiest skirt to our Valentine’s Day dinner next week that I had to get it in the another color! Could you believe this is the same room?! I feel that for years I was stuck in a rut of just decorating with blue and beige lol. I think that’s because I felt like I had to make sure Josh didn’t feel like our house was too feminine and girly 😬 So this year I’m making it my goal to incorporate my favorite color.... pink! Living in Illinois it’s so easy to become depressed during the winter months so I’ve been stocking up on all the pretty spring things. My biggest word of advice for timeless decorating is to invest in the bigger pieces. My advice for decorating with a toddler... Buy a super cheap rug 😂🤣 Our rug is from @samsclub and it was under $100. I don’t feel bad when we get playdoh or ketchup on it... or worse stepped down string cheese stuck to the carpet 🙈 I am beyond proud of how far this room has come and we spend so much time in here so I wanted it easy going and clutter free! The time has come where my dresses are more like tunics (add a baby bump + tall people problems lol) and where coats just don’t exist... so I resort to faux fur vest and fuzzy cardigans. Or as my husband calls it... my Muppets Winter Collection 😂🤣 I had my first experience today where strangers actually acknowledged I was pregnant and it was a little strange to be honest. No matter how many times you’ve been pregnant before, each one is different in its own way.
