“do we have to go in?” me every time we pull up to the gym lol
YES. GET UR ASS IN. Set some June goals this morning and one of them is definitelyyy to get in the gym more. I grew up dancing so I never had to like learn how to use a gym (if that makes sense🤔) going to practice/competitions etc. kept me healthy & fit, so once I stopped dancing my second year of college/didn’t have those blocked off hours of exercise in my routine anymore reality hit me HARD when my body was like uhhh...you’ve got to actually make time yourself to move me around?? I’m gettin weak over here
I feel like a lot of people, especially if you used to be an athlete, can relate to that kind of slap in the face of your body changing/having to develop a new routine once you stop your sport. I was actually terrified to go into the gym for the longest time and I only hit legs because the machines used to hit any other part of my body always had too many big men around LOL not a good way to think! Nobody is looking at you, even if you don’t know what you’re doing at first (🙋🏻♀️) make some goals to focus on yo health and yo self in June, for hot girl summer purposes ofc.
