My name is Sha’Ri (shyree) Smyth. I’m a wife and mama of three girls and a rambunctious 1 year old boy- he’s the one throwing shade in the corner. I have a masters in health and wellness, I’m a certified health coach and I’m currently getting my PhD in health education and promotion. I am the poster child for busy. My medical records say I have lupus, fibromyalgia, severe anxiety, ptsd and depression. My past shows I was rapped and molested by my stepfather. As a child and even young adult I allowed my mother to mentally and physically abuse me. I repeated cycles I didn’t even know I was repeating like poverty, drinking and more.  ❤️ I know what it’s like to want to just feel normal and not be held back by what we can’t control. I know what it’s like to look in the mirror and be ashamed, and even confused by what was staring back at me. I know what it’s like to feel like a human lab rat and just want to be “normal”. ❤️ I used my knowledge of the human body to get off of 13 prescriptions and three antidepressants. Drop over 80lbs, have the kids doctors said I wasn’t capable of having. My lupus is in remission and I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ve struggled with my weight self esteem, loving others, self love and more. ❤️ I say all this to say don’t allow labels to define you. Never allow your past to hold you back or make you think you are unworthy of his grace and love. You deserve to be healthy, you deserve to not be tied down to medications. You deserve to live the quality of life you want. You deserve to receive the blessing that God has for you. Never doubt your worth. You aren’t alone and you woke up when as I post this over 75,000 people have already died today.
