EOC (end of course exam) scores are officially in!!! As a 10th grade English teacher, I have the joy 🤩 of stressing about an EOC—stressing to ensure my students pass both the writing ✍️ and reading 📖 sections of the exam. Because of C*V*D, this unprecedented year has been a little more demanding and I honestly wasn’t sure how my students would score. Drum roll please.... 🥁 🥁 🥁 Out of 62 total English II students: 43 (69%) of the 62 scored an A!!! 14 of the 62 scored a B 2 of the 62 scored a C 2 of the 62 scored a D 1 of the 62 scored an F What does that mean? My class average was a 93.3%!!!! The only A average of all the 10th grade English teachers in the whole school (5 of us)! I SO DANG proud of all my students and the hard work they have put in this year—even despite the set backs!
