If you need a bra, I would suggest strapless since the neckline is square and the straps on a regular bra would likely show. The top is cropped and body-skimming so tucking isn’t an issue. 1 | The white button-down is a perfect example of a classic basic with a modern twist. The cropped fit is very flattering, and the short sleeves with button-tab cuffs feel really utilitarian and cool.
2 | This brown belt has been a heavy hitter since the moment I got it. The oval gold belt buckle is timeless in its design. It’s just a really lovely versatile basic to have in your closet.
3 | It’s not often you can find a pair of denim shorts that fit well, feel super comfortable, are flattering, have a great wash/design, and are affordable… but these check all the boxes!!! If you buy one pair of shorts this season, this is the pair to buy!

The blazer is SO good because of its sophisticated details like the luxe gold buttons and structured, padded shoulders. The shoulders create width across the top, which in contrast with the tailored waist, gives the illusion of a smaller waist. The cotton blend fabric is thick enough to provide structure but is also quite breathable and lightweight for those who run hot. Since this blazer is denim, you can style it multiple ways: casually for lunch or dress it up for work or dinner.

In this look, I styled the blazer with one of my favorite basic white tees by ATM, a pair of cropped white jeans by L’Agence, and some neutral Sam Edelman pumps. Pairing the blazer with whites and light neutrals like this feels so fresh and springy.

I completed the look with some cool Le Specs aviator sunglasses and my beautiful Bottega Veneta cassette bag that I’ve owned for a few years. All of these pieces run true to size.

I LOVE blazers… and this gorgeous oversized linen blazer is one of my absolute favorites for summer!

I wear this chic blazer all.the.time… with shorts, jeans, over dresses… you name it! But my favorite way to wear it is as a set with its coordinating shorts. I may be partial to the super chic B belt😉, but the overall fit of the shorts is perfection. They’re high-waisted, which combined with the wider leg opening, makes your waist and legs look smaller. And the set just looks so cool!

This is an easy, chic desk-to-dinner look! I’m wearing a Veronica Beard denim blazer with a pair of black Favorite Daughter wide-leg pants. These are the “Shortie” pants, but they also come in a regular length. Even the Shortie length is a little long on me (I’m 5’4”) so I have to wear heels. The wide-leg is SO flattering and I love that the pleating isn’t too overwhelming in the midsection.

Under the blazer, I’m wearing a black knit top by Open Edit. It’s thick and structured enough to wear without a bra if you are smaller-chested. If you need a bra, I would suggest strapless since the neckline is square and the straps on a regular bra would likely show. The top is cropped and body-skimming so tucking isn’t an issue- a must with pleated pants, so you don’t add bulk around the tummy.

I completed the look with a classic pair of black booties, a black belt, and cool Quay cat-eye sunglasses, but you could make accessory swaps to make it more or less work-appropriate. This is such a modern, unexpected office outfit idea that will easily transition to dinner. If you want to add more va-va-voom, take your blazer off when you get to dinner to show off the sexy square neckline of the top. All of these pieces run true to size.
