Have any of you ever been asked or heard of the interview/personality quiz question, “If you were a kitchen utensil, what would you be and why?” LOL My brother told me about this question growing up when we were prepping for some #FFA events and it was always my favorite question. I don’t know if I loved it because I have an INTENSE appreciation of kitchen equipment and often ask for them as gifts for holidays (yes, I’m that person) or if I loved it because I always felt like I had a multitude of great answers I could toss out. • • My go-to answer was “I’d be a Blender!” And TRUST me I had several reasons why…some legitimate, some silly, and some that were just downright bonkers. BUT if I am ever asked this question I have an answer. • • The condensed version of the PC answer I liked to give was “I’d be a blender because I like to mix it up!” The short version of the non-PC version was “I’d be a blender because I like to drink and drinking allows everyone to feel like they too can mix it up.” 🍹🤷🏼‍♀️ (Btw, my advice to you is to avoid that answer in mixed company, but it’s your life. You do you.) • • What does this @dvf dress from @renttherunway have to do with that oddball question? Not a lot except for the fact that in my mind if this dress were a kitchen utensil it would absolutely be a blender. Everyone can wear it, the prints are all mixed up but somehow work, and it’s perfect for mixing it up both in and outside of the office where drinks may or may not be involved. BONUS: It runs large so if you think of yourself more like a garbage disposal who loves to eat anything in sight on any given day, you’ve got plenty of room to grow a burrito baby without anyone noticing. 🌯Which, let’s be honest, that’s all anyone ever wants in a great dress.
