𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. 💥 But I got up (cue catchy song), put my boxing gloves back on, and will continue to create my dream life. I’m a fixer and spend a lot of energy trying to help other people sometimes failing to be in touch with the source of my own feelings and actions. Yesterday I was reading @brenebrown’s “Dare to Lead” and she had this to say about fixers: “In the face of a difficult conversation, when we see that someone’s hurt or in pain, it’s our instinct as human beings to try to make things better. We want to fix, we want to give advice.
