Glycolic & Mandelic acid (AHAs) work for exfoliated dry, dull appearing skin & can help lighten hyperpigmentation. Gluconolactone (PHA) very gently exfoliates and improves moisture retention. Hyaluronic acid in the dry skin formula holds water in the skin, plumping and firming skin cells. I am confused why they chose citric acid for the oily skin product, and not salicylic acid. Citric acid is an antioxidant & helps with adjusting pH. Salicylic acid would have been better for oily skin, as it helps exfoliate pores and sebum. Because these products have glycolic acid, they increase your risk of a sun burn., so sun protection is a must. I recommend doing a test spot first, as irritation can commonly occur when introducing an exfoliant. I would not use these together with retinol/retinoid, as excessive irritation is likely. #LTKunder50
