Keeping my car organized with my favorite @calpak car organizer! This thing is a total game changer yall! Can’t tell you how many times my kids have had blow outs 💩, wet clothes, scraped knees, etc etc while we are out and about. This organizer has helped keep my essentials all in one place & keeps my car so clean!
Couple things I want to highlight… diaper 💩 bags, work for your dogs too but I’ve found when my kid’s have dirty diapers, and there’s no trash can around, I need these 💩 bags. I will put the dirty diaper by my windshield wipers, to keep it out of my car 😂 & throw away when i get home. These bags are also great for muddy shoes too! I also have that gray water proof mat that I always leave in my car. It’s great for picnics and soccer games for us to sit on in the grass. I also carry an extra pair of flip flops in my car too… why? For the times I go to the nail salon and forget to wear flip flops, I have an extra pair in my car 😂! A fashion emergency kit🙌🏻 for those times you’re out and about, lose a button, and need a quick needle & thread, or some fashion tape, etc. Also my grocery bag handles! Throw all your grocery sacks on one hook and take all your groceries inside in one trip!

What a treasure this is 💝 I was reminded by a good friend of this little gem and one I’ve done for my students back in the day!

I know what many are thinking… how will I keep track of this? Or what if I want to do this but my child is already in fourth grade or whatever grade?

If I were you, I’d…
keep this book in a safe place, separate from your kid’s other books. If your child is already in 4th grade and you want their previous teacher’s to write in the book, go back & ask them! Email them, send them the book to write in if they’re no longer at your child’s school, etc. If sending the book isn’t an option, try taping an email in there. If you still can’t get in touch, maybe you can take a picture of a year book message they may have written, print it, and glue it in the book! Or!😂 maybe write a note yourself of your memories of your child in that classroom and a motivational little note from Mom or Dad!

My favorite entertaining tip: use paper as much as you can! Not only is it easy cleanup, but it’s kid friendly too… and thank goodness for @lucy_grymes who makes the most festive paper placemats around! I love to reuse her placemats for other table decor. I made flatware paper pockets and wrapped the gorgeous flower arrangement with two of her placemats too!
